Talkin' Bout Good And Bad Hair...

So...In this month's issue of Essence, HALLE BERRY announced that she plans to 'go bald' for her upcoming role in NAPPILY EVER AFTER, the film adaption of Trisha R. Thomas' novel from back in 2000.


Consequently, NIA LONG is also making the rounds, promoting her involvement in CHRIS ROCK's new documentary, GOOD HAIR, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last month.


Don't you find it interesting that two of our prettiest actresses are exploring the definition of real beauty in this way?...Also have you ever noticed that the people who say there's no such thing as 'good hair' are the ones that don't particularly have 'it?'...Whatever 'it' is...**starts to sing you can buy your hair if it won't grow...and all the makeup that MAC can make.**

Now, I've seen some average looking women with the most amazing heads of hair...And I've seen some gruesome looking chicks with the most banging bodies ever **bless their hearts.** So can we agree that GOD gives us all a little somethin' somethin' to work with, be it skin, legs, lips or booties...And NO MA'AM, sometimes it just ain't the hair...
